The College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CHTM) sent an invitation to the office of the Guidance Services and Wellness Center, requesting speakers for their college interns’ orientation before deployment in their respective workplace.
The office of the Guidance Services and Wellness Center assigned Ms. Jezreel Donna B. Tandoc and Sir Noel Harry A. Estillore to be the spokesperson on the two days orientation. On the first day of the orientation that was held on May 19, 2026, Ms. Jezreel Donna B. Tandoc lead the discussion of Understanding Multi-Generational Workforce highlighting the importance of the workplace scenarios, things to expect in the work field, and understanding individuals’ cultural identities and backgrounds. She also included key points related to growth in the workplace, values to project and laws that protects the rights of an intern working in the work field. Right after the discussion she answered questions that are focused on the quality that they should portrait, things that they should look on forward too, and lastly questions towards self-improvement.

On the second day of the orientation that was held on May 21, 2026, Sir Noel Harry A. Estillore facilitated the discussion of The Power of EQ and Stress Management. He highlighted the importance of Emotional quotient by integrating their school learning experiences throughout their university years and learnings from day-to-day interactions towards people (Family, Friends, Instructors and Random People). He processed their thoughts through examples of scenarios that may possibly happened in the work setting, by letting them to understand the options that they can do and for them overcome the pressures towards in their internships. After his discussion he answer questions focus on overcoming the self, understanding self-improvement towards work setting and things overcome towards self-goal in accordance with other people’s expectation.
