UC’s Guide to Secure and Accessible Student Accommodations Near Campus

The University provides students with a list of affordable and accessible residences obtained from the Baguio City Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO), which includes all accommodations with valid business permits. To make housing selection easier, the UC Guidance and Counseling Office (GCO) filter the list to feature options that are within close proximity to the main campus and meet safety and accessibility considerations.

The list comprises BPLO accredited dormitories, boarding houses, and housing facilities, updated annually to ensure accuracy and reliability. Accommodations are further screened by the office to be ideally within 1.5 km from the University and near essential establishments such as a police station, clinic or hospital, and a grocery or market.

This initiative serves as a helpful guide for incoming freshmen and students, especially those new to the city, who are looking for safe, convenient, and reliable accommodations as they begin their college journey. Aligned with its advocacy for sustainable commuting, the University encourages students to select accommodations that are walkable or accessible through public transport.
