The University of the Cordilleras – College of Arts and Sciences (UC-CAS) Care & Share Community Caravan was successfully conducted in Barangay Pito, Bokod, Benguet, from July 3–4, 2026.

In partnership with various dedicated stakeholders, the CAS Care & Share Community Caravan brought essential services closer to the residents of Barangay Pito and neighboring communities, ensuring accessible care, support, and guidance for all. ![]()
Together with the Local Government Unit of Bokod, Barangay Pito, and the Sangguniang Kabataan of Pito, as well as our invaluable partners—the Rotaract Club of Angels, Saint Louis University–MOMFI, University of Baguio Dentistry, Player’s Barbers, Family Planning Organization of the Philippines, Project KKK, Siglat Youth Hub, Philippine Air Force Tactical Operations Group 1, PAF Reserve Group 1, Department of National Security Studies, HAG, Philippine Military Academy (PMA), and Baguio Family and Friends LEO Club 301-C—the Community Caravan successfully delivered a wide range of services, including free legal aid, medical and dental missions, mental health counseling, blood sugar testing, HIV counseling and screening, family planning services, leadership training and team-building activities, arts expression programs, knowledge dissemination sessions, psychological first aid training, career guidance, and discussions on social media awareness, safe spaces, and anti-bullying.

Expanding the reach of the caravan, the UC Department of Psychology and Behavioral Sciences, in collaboration with the UC Guidance Services and Wellness Center, conducted free mental health counseling sessions, then the UC Department of Political Science facilitated capacity-building sessions for local officials and provided legal aid services. While the UC Communication Department be able to have their IEC regarding Social Media Principles and Practices to the Senior High School Students, including the UC Language and Literature Department did their follow-up on the English Literacy Needs Planning for a future needs assessment of the department.
As we continue to celebrate lives, care with a heart, and share with purpose, the UC-CAS Care & Share Team extends its heartfelt gratitude to all partners, stakeholders, volunteers, and community members whose unwavering support and commitment continue to embody the true spirit of public service.
