Transitioning into university life is an exciting journey, but it also comes with new challenges, academic pressures, and big adjustments. That is why taking care of our mental well-being is more important than ever!
Last May 28, 2026, our 1st-year students gathered for a timely and deeply impactful seminar: “Mind Maintenance: Mental Health Awareness.” This session was specifically crafted to equip our freshmen with the tools, insights, and coping mechanisms they need to navigate college life mindfully and resiliently.
We were incredibly privileged to have Mr. JohnFrey C. Cabalonga as our guest speaker. His profound insights and empathetic approach provided everyone with practical advice on stress management, self-care, and breaking the stigma surrounding mental health.

Our charismatic hosts, Mr. and Ms. CBA, Meshan Masweng and Niel Rafael, guided the morning beautifully, creating a warm, safe, and welcoming environment for everyone. And to keep the energy light and uplifting, our UC Green Jaguar and Mr. CBA 2025, Mr. Timothy Arcega, led the crowd in fun icebreakers that brought out the smiles and shook away the midweek stress!

To our 1st-year students: remember that your mental health matters just as much as your grades. Let’s continue to look out for one another, practice self-compassion, and prioritize our mind maintenance.
