The City Tourism, Culture and Arts Office (CTCAO) gathered key stakeholders a hybrid meeting last April 7, 2026, from university students and staffs to Non-Government Organizations, to strengthen the collaboration for Pride Month 2026 and the Baguio Equality Expo. The meeting emphasized the importance of improved coordination, inclusivity, and stronger partnerships among organizations, schools, and the community.
Among the participants were Mr. JohnFrey Cabalonga, Guidance Associate and Adviser of the SUMIKOM Support Group, and Mr. Stephen Real, Chairman of the SUMIKOM Support Group, who joined fellow advocates in shaping plans for the upcoming celebration.

Discussions highlighted past successes while identifying areas for improvement such as enhanced publicity, early planning, and the use of accessible venues to boost participation. Key events, including the pride March, LGBT Fashion Show, and Rainbow Market, were also outlined.
The group further proposed the creation of a unified federation of organizations to sustain advocacy efforts and ensure long-term impact, reinforcing Baguio City’s commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusive celebration.
