Inclusive Learners Support Services: Empowering Every Student to Thrive

The Guidance Services and Wellness Center proudly launches the Inclusive Learners Support Services (ILSS)—a new initiative designed to provide comprehensive, accessible, and learner-centered support for students with diverse needs. This program strengthens the University’s commitment to building an inclusive campus where all learners can reach their full potential.

What Is the Inclusive Learners Support Services?

The ILSS offers academic and personal development support tailored to students with special needs, learning differences, and other vulnerabilities. Using a multidisciplinary approach, it ensures learners receive the right tools, guidance, and accommodations to be successful in both academic and personal life.

Whether a student needs academic adjustments, emotional support, assistive technology, or help navigating college life, the ILSS provides a safe and empowering space for growth.

  • Priority Tutoring Services through Project Champion and Peer Facilitators
  • Academic Considerations based on individual needs
  • Assistive Technology Tools and accessible learning materials available in the library

These services promote meaningful participation and help students develop confidence in their learning journey.

Holistic well-being is a central part of student success. The ILSS provides integrated support through:

  • Counseling and psychosocial services
  • Testing and assessment for learning or personal concerns
  • Information and guidance services
  • Individual Learning Support Plans (ILSP)
  • Career placement support in partnership with the Career Development Center
  • Peer support networks
